Binance aims to reopen withdrawals by Sunday and publish proof of reserves by Monday. The midterms land Tuesday. Bitcoin traded near $76,400 late Friday, about 1% above Strategy's average cost.

MARKET PULSE

Crypto starts November with its biggest exchange under review and its biggest corporate holder near break-even.

Bitcoin traded near $76,400 late Friday, down more than 8% for October. Ether was near $2,230. Coinbase's research puts ETF buyers' average cost near $81,300. Bitcoin now sits about 6% below it.

The week's calendar is short and crowded. Binance's reopening and reserve proof come first. Tokenized shares and Strategy's daily dividends follow. The U.S. midterms land Tuesday, with Iran risk priced just past them.

Here are six questions for the week ahead.

QUESTION 1

Can Binance Prove It Can Pay?

What happens. Binance put the damage from a breach at about $6.3 billion, with about $3 billion frozen. It has pledged to cover every loss.

When. Binance aims to reopen withdrawals by Sunday and publish full proof of reserves by Monday.

What crypto prices in. Partial trust. Binance says it already holds $5 billion of the exact tokens taken and is buying the rest. Coinbase (COIN) fell about 13% Friday, while bitcoin slipped about 2%.

What would change it. A delayed reopening or a reserve report that falls short. A heavy wave of withdrawals once the doors open would also test the promise.

The breach already spread past Binance. Aave froze lending on hundreds of markets after an attacker-linked wallet borrowed against USDT, then reopened them Friday.

What to watch. Whether withdrawals reopen on time. Also watch the frozen total, which Binance says may rise as tracing goes on.

QUESTION 2

Where Does the Attacker's Ether Go?

What happens. The unfrozen half of the theft went into coins no issuer can stop.

When. No date. The coins can move at any hour.

What crypto prices in. A supply overhang, mostly in ether. TRM Labs says the attacker holds more than 420,000 ether and 18,270 bitcoin. U.S. ether funds also lost about $275.7 million from Monday through Thursday, Farside data show. Ether has no fund bid to absorb sales. Bitcoin funds went the other way. They took in about $440.8 million over the same four days, much of it through BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT).

What would change it. Coins moving to exchanges would raise selling risk. A seizure or freeze by an exchange would shrink it. Tether and Circle froze more than $2.3 billion of stablecoins within hours, but they cannot freeze ether or bitcoin.

What to watch. The attacker's wallets, daily ether fund flows and ether's price, which traded near $2,230 late Friday.

The $3 Trillion Crisis That Almost NOBODY Is Talking About

According to Wall Street legend Dr. Martin D. Weiss, there’s a $3 trillion financial crisis happening right now.

And almost nobody but him is warning people.

In fact, according to WSJ, this $3 trillion market “is under growing strain, despite industry’s upbeat tone.”

Weiss says the biggest danger is NOT just another stock market crash.

The biggest danger is NOT only a major bank failure.

Rather, it’s a chain reaction of crashes and failures across the globe.

QUESTION 3

Does Risk Rise After the Midterms?

What happens. Americans vote in the midterm elections. President Trump has said the U.S. would not attack Iran before them.

When. Tuesday, Nov. 3.

What crypto prices in. Calm through the vote, then less of it. Oil is pricing a date on the calendar, not damage. Polymarket's ceasefire contract through Nov. 8 sat near 73.5 cents Friday morning. The Nov. 15 contract was near 53 cents Thursday.

Bitcoin traded with tech this week, not with bonds. Its first leg down came in the hour Amazon (AMZN) and Intel (INTC) reported Thursday. The 10-year yield fell to near 4.93% Friday, and bitcoin fell anyway.

What would change it. A strike on Iran, or a deal. Either would move oil and stocks, and bitcoin has followed stocks.

Rates sit in the background. The Fed held in a 10-2 vote, and Kalshi's December hike contract traded near 73 cents Friday afternoon. St. Louis Fed President Alberto Musalem said more firming will be needed "soon." The December decision lands Dec. 9.

What to watch. The Nov. 8 and Nov. 15 ceasefire contracts, Brent near $113 and Nasdaq futures.

QUESTION 4

Does Strategy's Cushion Hold?

What happens. Strategy's shareholders approved daily dividends on its preferred stock. STRC, its main bitcoin-funding tool, goes first.

When. STRC's record date is Nov. 1. The change still has to be filed and take effect. Strategy's last weekly update came Monday, Oct. 26.

What crypto prices in. Little new corporate buying. Strategy bought no bitcoin the week before last and spent $204.9 million on its own preferred. Strategy (MSTR) sold 5,552 bitcoin last quarter to fund dividends and buybacks.

What would change it. Bitcoin below Strategy's $75,446 average cost would put the largest corporate stack under water. Strive (ASST) is the counterweight, with a program to sell up to $1 billion of 15% preferred to keep buying.

Smaller holders are already handing cash back. A Solana treasury company sold all its coins, and SkyAI (SKYA) is running a $214.3 million tender.

What to watch. Bitcoin against $75,446, and whether Strategy's next filing shows coins bought or sold.

QUESTION 5

Do Tokenized Shares Start Trading?

What happens. Canton Strategic Holdings said tokenized versions of its shares could trade under the SEC's new exemption. The company sponsors the tokens itself, so it skips the 30-day objection window.

When. As early as Monday, Nov. 2.

What crypto prices in. Interest in the venues more than the tokens. Canton Strategic (CNTN) was little changed. ICE (ICE) agreed to run a U.S. retail market for perpetual futures built on Hyperliquid. Its shares gained about 4.5%, and Hyperliquid Strategies (PURR) about 23%. That market still needs approval and has no launch date.

What would change it. A first day with real volume. A delay or a regulator's objection would slow the queue.

What to watch. Whether CNTN tokens trade Monday, and on what volume. Wall Street's own rails are already live. The Depository Trust Company launched its tokenization service Wednesday.

QUESTION 6

Do Stablecoins Gain From the Freeze?

What happens. Issuers showed they can stop stolen coins, and that power now cuts both ways.

When. Ongoing. Coinbase moved EEA customers' remaining non-MiCA stablecoins into USDC on Oct. 30.

What crypto prices in. Little reward for issuers so far. Circle (CRCL) lost about 10% Friday. It fell 7% Monday after Mizuho argued AI assistants could steer savers away from USDC. Tether's third-quarter attestation showed its reserve cushion nearly doubled to $7.95 billion.

What would change it. New distribution with disclosed volumes. Ripple's trust bank won final OCC approval, and BNY (BNY) and Robinhood (HOOD) signed on for RLUSD. Coinbase listed RLUSD, and Moody's gave its reserves an A2 rating. Ripple says RLUSD tops $2.6 billion in market value.

What to watch. Circle's shares against the coin, and the first usage figures from the new RLUSD partners.
