Celestica jumped about 15% before the bell on a $40 billion outlook for 2027. Ripple said it won final approval for a national trust bank, and bitcoin held near $80,000.

MARKET PULSE

AI's suppliers set the tone before the bell, and Meta locked in its raise.

S&P 500 futures rose about 0.2%, and Nasdaq 100 futures about 0.3%.

Celestica gave a 2027 outlook of $40 billion in revenue, nearly double this year's raised $21 billion forecast. Third-quarter revenue rose 83% to $5.83 billion, above the top of its guidance. It cut its free-cash-flow target to $460 million to invest in working capital for 2027. Celestica (CLS) was up about 15% premarket.

Cadence booked a record $8.2 billion backlog and raised its revenue growth forecast to 21%. Cadence (CDNS) rose about 2% premarket. Amkor (AMKR), which packages chips, guided sales roughly flat but was about 3% higher after Monday's 6% drop.

Meta priced $25 billion of common stock at $625 and $12.5 billion of preferred. Nvidia (NVDA) said it will invest $3 billion. The common is sold forward, so Meta collects that cash only when it settles, as late as November 2027. Meta (META) was little changed.

Whirlpool now expects a full-year loss of about $1.30 a share, after starting the year expecting about $7 of profit. Whirlpool (WHR) fell about 7% premarket.

The Order Book Became the Collateral

AI's suppliers are now helping fund the companies that buy from them. Celestica is tying up cash today in working capital for 2027, and Nvidia is putting $3 billion into a customer's stock. Most of Meta's raise arrives later, when it settles the forward sale. The same dollars are circling between buyer and seller, so one budget cut would hit both ends at once.

ENERGY

Oil rose overnight, a fire was reported near Saudi Arabia's biggest export terminal, and the gains faded.

Saudi Arabia contained a fire near Ras Tanura, its biggest oil export terminal, after an attack in the region, according to a person familiar with the matter. Who carried it out has not been confirmed.

Brent touched almost $117 overnight, then traded near $115, down about 0.9% from Monday's $115.81 settlement.

Saudi, Pakistani and Turkish officials will keep talking with Tehran, though Iran said the U.S. is "not serious" about negotiations. Exxon (XOM) and Chevron (CVX) report Friday.

The Fire Didn't Hold the Price

Brent was already about 70 cents above Monday's settlement before the fire was reported. It rose less than 50 cents more after the report and was below the settlement by early New York trading. Neither the talks nor the attacks have been settled. The premium now rests on whether tankers keep loading, not on the headlines.

MACRO

The Fed starts its meeting, and prediction markets priced a quiet week before the midterms.

Fed officials begin their two-day meeting today, after last month's hike. Kalshi's contract on a quarter-point hike Wednesday slipped to 6 cents from 9. Polymarket priced no change near 92.5 cents.

Iran ceasefire contracts rallied overnight. Polymarket's contract on the ceasefire holding through Oct. 31 rose to 92.5 cents from 86.5. The Nov. 15 contract sits near 55 cents. The ladder's biggest step falls across the Nov. 3 midterms, before which Trump said the U.S. would not attack Iran.

Israel is voting, and Polymarket makes Gadi Eisenkot the favorite to be prime minister at about 62 cents. Benjamin Netanyahu sits near 27.5 cents. The contract pays on who is sworn in, which can take weeks of coalition talks.

French household confidence fell to 80, its lowest since June 2013, the national statistics office said.

Risk Was Rescheduled

Prediction markets are pricing dates more than outcomes. The ceasefire ladder is near certain before the midterms and close to even two weeks after. Kalshi hike bets faded for Wednesday, while December remains the meeting traders are watching. Calm is being priced as a calendar promise, and those expire.

A takeover report cost the buyer, and Apollo is buying into a manager.

DoorDash is reportedly in advanced talks to buy Instacart for about $17 billion. Neither has confirmed talks. DoorDash (DASH) fell about 6% Monday, losing about $4.7 billion of value. Instacart (CART) rose 7.9%, adding about $1 billion.

Apollo (APO) is investing "a little over a billion dollars" in Mubadala Capital, CEO Marc Rowan said, for a 10% stake, The National reported.

Ben & Jerry's founders have been exploring a deal with Pete Stavros, a KKR executive, to carve the brand out of Magnum (MICC) and place it under employee ownership, reports say. Magnum said Ben & Jerry's is not for sale.

The Acquirer Paid First

Markets charged the buyer before any deal was signed. DoorDash shed about $4.7 billion of value on a report, more than four times what Instacart added. Apollo is buying a slice of a manager, a share of fees without integration risk. Takeovers that still have to work get marked down first.

CRYPTO PULSE

Ripple won a federal trust charter, and bitcoin held near $80,000.

Bitcoin traded near $80,000, little changed, after dipping to about $79,400 overnight.

Ripple said the OCC granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank. It will manage the reserves behind the RLUSD stablecoin, act as their collateral trustee and offer custody. RLUSD will still be issued by Ripple's New York-regulated trust company. XRP was flat near $1.30.

Hyperliquid said Kraken's parent, Payward, intends to be the first CFTC-regulated firm to run perpetual futures markets on its network. Payward's Bitnomial would clear the contracts, subject to regulatory approval and a network upgrade.

U.S. spot bitcoin funds took in about $110 million Monday, all of it into BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), fund-flow data show. Ether funds lost about $89 million. Robinhood (HOOD) reports after today's close and was up about 1% premarket. Coinbase (COIN) and Strategy (MSTR) report Thursday.

The Charter Came Before the Buyers

Crypto's regulatory wins are arriving faster than its buyers. A stablecoin's reserves will now sit with a federally supervised trust bank, and XRP didn't move. Monday's bitcoin fund buying came through one product, and ether funds saw outflows. The rails for institutions are being built ahead of the institutions.

Tuesday paid for orders, discounted headlines and waited on the Fed.

Celestica and Nvidia kept AI's suppliers in charge. Oil shrugged off a fire near Ras Tanura, Iran's risk was priced past the midterms, and bitcoin waited on Wednesday's decision as Ripple got its charter.
